Lunch at the Ambassador's House

The Ambassador and her staff were good enough to invite the kids of the embassy over to her house for pizza making and ice cream.  It was wonderful to have a fun activity planned for a Saturday!  All of the kids were able to make it except for a few of the teenage boys.  The kids had fun putting toppings on the already made dough, and then playing together while the pizza cooked.  The Ambassador also gave the kids a tour of her house.
The Ambassador specifically asked Thomas to play the piano for everyone because she knew he played.  After coming to our house for dinner months ago (a spontaneous invite when she was visiting our building), she invited us to use her piano anytime in her house because she has such a nice piano that goes untouched.  Thomas shyly played a little with everyone around, and then of course let loose after everyone left.  :)
Here is the Ambassador and her local and American staff as well as us moms on the right that were there to help.  The thought of our children running around the Ambassador's house without us, scared us. ;)
We left the Ambassador's house and walked to the embassy which is just down the block.  There Holly, our new CLO, had an activity planned for the families.
Jenga, a bouncy house, cotton candy and popcorn, swimming, soccer, etc. kept the kids happy for another few hours!  We're grateful for Holly that has stepped us as our new CLO and has planned such fun activities for us!
