So Bro. Josh E., the counselor over the primary, came up with the great idea of having the activity girls doing a pinewood derby race. Everyone loved the idea except the dads. ;) Luckily the girls didn't have any expectations as to what their cars should look like or winning, so they were low maintenance and just decorated with stickers and markers and were fine with the lazy man's way of attaching the weights--on the top so everyone can see. ;)
Sister Shelyn G. was awesome at getting all the cars weighed before the race.
I loved seeing how the cars were painted and decorated.
Thomas and another boy that were there to watch, were asked to help set the car the cars up. Thomas loved that responsibility and did a great job! I don't know how he never messed up the order of the cars or the tracks they were supposed to be on!
The prizes for all the girls were cars made from chocolate bars and rollos.

Fun morning for all the girls, and the dads got rewarded with doughnuts for their efforts. ;)
