Mother's Day was as pleasant as always -- I got breakfast from the kids and a sweet video compilation from T that he made of pics and videos from years past. I also got a little "adventure" scavenger hunt from Rhea and a Popsicle note from Savvy. What more does a mom need right?
After church, we arranged with another family in the ward, the G family, to go to a retirement home in the area to do a music recital. Their kids play the piano as well and their oldest, Scotty, is a good friend of Thomas and also plays well. Unfortunately, the home double-booked us with a Korean Christian church group, but eventually it was our turn and the kids did beautifully. In between piano solos, we all sung Mother's days songs together. Fun to see the reactions and appreciation on their faces.
A great day!
