Moving out of temporary housing!

We left our first apartment that was next to the loudest disco tech in Luanda, a week and a half after we moved here, and they put us in temporary housing until they found us a permanent place for us.  It was small, and very dark because it didn’t have a lot of natural light, and it only had one bathroom.  Still, we made some good memories there and we took advantage of it being right across from the embassy (swimming in the pool, playing on the playground, etc).  Never in the history of our 15 years of marriage, has Briant ever had a commute that was less than 35 minutes.  It took him 30 seconds to walk home.  J

Our last moments in the apartment:
Good-bye TDY!
