I got to catch a little bit of Thomas' end of the year field day to see how he was doing and if he was having fun. It looked like it, so I got some quick pics and left him to the all day outdoor events that included a lot of water and getting wet. What I missed though was the teacher dunking in the water. :(
I went with my friend Leslie who got to see her daughter as well for a second. Literally for just a second because Abby was being a middle schooler who didn't want her mom there. Luckily Leslie is used to this by now and is thick skinned. I probably would have cried. I'm lucky my kids haven't rejected me yet in front of their friends or at school events!
