A fun night with the N family! We invited both of the embassy families that we go to church with, but the T family was having problems with their car heater, so they couldn't drive safely with the windows fogging up. We missed them, but were glad they got their car fixed a few days later!
We started out watching a good ole' Christmas classic, Mr. Krueger's Christmas with Jimmy Stewart. Cute and a nice message of remembering the love of our Savior and to show that love to others.
We had some treats of muddy buddies, chocolate balls, and gingerbread cookies the N family surprised us with. We then gave the kids some play dough to make their own little nativities. It started out okay, but I think the humidity got to the dough and it became too soft. Oh well, the kids had fun playing, and then ditched the dough and ran upstairs to do crazy wrestling in Thomas' room and then outside to play with Nerf guns. They came in and were excited to tell their stories of running around in the dark with nerf guns and who shot who. ;)
Thomas, Andrew, and Clark. Faces a little pink from the cold.
Rhea and Audrey.
And me, sporting my super cozy pajamas Bri got me. It was a pajama party so everyone could come cozy and ready to slip into their warm beds when they got home. I quite enjoyed my comfortable night! Glad we had the chance to spend time with the N family and get to know them better!
