As part of our homeschool curriculum, I wanted to help the girls learn to cook. Savannah's love of cooking was the natural impetus to her learning, not a set curriculum. I didn't have to do anything except provide ingredients and help finding recipes if she was struggling.
It was always fun to be surprised by what she made. Here's Rhea about to have her food unveiled to her.

This picture reminds me of all the smoothies and "crispy bacon" (sausage or other kind of meat) the girls have made while living here in Latvia. Rhea learned a lot of cooking tips from Savannah and was happy to make us a yummy green smoothie every day!

Both of the girls have learned to make "dad's tacos (or a version of them) too. They use the griddle to crisp the corn tortillas up just like dad and fill them with yumminess. An easy filler they started using was chili because it already had the cooked meat and beans. ;)
There's nothing like pancakes and fruit to help the medicine (math) go down. ;)
The girls love to bake anything and everything!
I loved how Savannah tried to cook healthy foods for us too!
She really got into making sweet potatoes and veggies. She and I LOVE sweet potatoes! Savannah always has. As a baby, sweet potatoes were her favorite baby food along with peaches, so really nothing has changed!
