Two Saturdays before leaving for Angola, we decided to take the kids to the Play, Work, Build Museum in D.C. An enormous, fancy building for such a small number of exhibits and "building rooms." We concluded that it must have had another purpose before, and now it's being used for this museum. We weren't exactly sure what to expect, but I think we expected more, however we still had fun with what they had:
The same 13 busts of "great architects" are found repeated around the top perimeter of the large hall. |
| Large foam building pieces. |
| My foam person. This is as complicated as I got. :) |
| Savvy made a friend. They built a lot of things together. |
| "Going for height," Briant said. |
| Lunch for the hungry in the "cafe" area after all the "work." |
