| Taking a shuttle to the metro for the first time. Usually we just walk, but this is a similar shuttle that Bri takes to work everyday, so the kids have been begging to experience it. |

| These little birds were all over the lawn, hidden somewhat because of their size. We couldn't leave them alone of course. We wanted to see them fly. So we ran all over the lawn in front of the capital. :) |

| We went briefly (much to Briant's dismay) to the National Museum of Natural History. The kids didn't last long before they were tired and hungry. But I did get a picture of this cute little stuffed mouse that looked like he was singing to us. He made us all laugh. |

| We finally made it to the Lincoln Memorial. A wonderful man that deserves a memorial. |
